Working together to locate and rescue the remaining Galaxy Rangers, Leo and Andros find the odds outweighing them, but salvation soon comes in the form of four more old Rangers familiar with the Psychos, and the battle is soon joined as two Ranger forces unite.

Meanwhile Kai and Leo succeed in opening the gateway that leads out of the Lost Galaxy, but Mike’s mission to retrieve the hostages is met with great danger, and he is critically injured in the male. To complicate matters further, Terra Venture is moving too slow for the slowly closing wormhole, forcing The Torozord to make a fateful decision…

Meanwhile, Terra Venture’s scouts pinpoint a habitable world within a few light years of them, and preparations are made to settle there, but before the colony can embrace their new tomorrow, the warped Trakeena arrives in The Scorpion Stinger and bombards the colony with her vessel’s incredible firepower. To bide the Colony some time to evacuate, Leo and Damon, armed with explosives, make a risky decision to act as bait and draw in The Scorpion Stinger…

When leading an attack on the stricken colony, Villimax is touched by the care of a little girl, and he begins to question where his loyalty lies. Trakeena’s campaign of destruction eventually succeeds in overwhelming several of the Galactabeasts, forcing The Rangers to confront The Scorpion Stinger in the Megaship, but they are severally crippled in the ensuing battle. Leo makes a bold decision that separates him from the Rangers and sends him on a collision course with the moon

A wounded Trakeena successfully enters the cocoon and completes her transformation, becoming a repulsive, yet formidable insect creature. Leo, defying injuries from his own crash-landing, battles Trakeena to a standstill within the city dome as the remaining Galaxy Rangers regroup and return to the dome to help their leader finish off Trakeena once and for all, but with the dome on a collision course with the colony’s new world, will all their power be enough to prevent Trakeena’s rampage AND save Terra Venture’s inhabitants?
